The 2021 Program Included:

• Creating industry standard audition portfolios ensuring they are well equipped come the reopening of the entertainment industry.

• Repertoire building.

• Intensive language coaching in French with Teresa Desmarchelier, German with Jennifer Marten-Smith, and Italian with Rosalia Miglioli.

• Vocal Coaching with Lisa Gasteen AO and Bradley Daley.

• Headshots taken by Ronan King-Rose Photography.

• CV mentorship by Dr Nancy Underhill DUniv.

• Professionally produced individual audio/visual recordings by David Spearritt.

• Dr Peter Bassett presented a series of illustrated lectures on music by composers including Verdi, Wagner, and Offenbach.

• A lecture series by Dr Nancy Underhill using Art History to introduce cultural movements shared by music including a guest appearance from artist D Harding.

• Zoom Lecture with Richard Mills AM, Artistic Director of Victorian Opera, discussing the Conductor/Singer relationship.

• Zoom Lecture with Patrick Togher, Patrick Togher Artist Management, discussing the Manager/Artist relationship.

• Vocal Health Lectures with Dr Ron Morris.

• LGNOP 2021 Répétiteur's: Sarka Budinska, Mark Connors, and John Woods.

With lectures held both in person and online, LGNOP has been able to offer developing Queensland singers a useful experience to assist their professional careers, successfully navigating the continuing border closures due to COVID-19.
